ROLLINSFORD -- Those who have played for many years in the Dover Co-Ed Softball League know just how good it is, but up until now there has not been one central place for its 11 teams and league officials to share information, standings, box scores and photos.
A new blog was born at 2:08 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, to address this need. Hopefully, teams will submit whatever information they want to post to Bob Cook, the keeper of the new league blog, so he can post it and then distribute it to our teams.
The blog can also be used to post important announcements about upcoming tournaments, changes in league policy and any other information from league president Ben Hazen.
Teams can also submit short write-ups via e-mail to Bob Cook about their games with teh final score and whatever details they want to include such as dramatic homeruns, close plays at home, or decisive plays. They can also submit any digital photos or videos that can be posted with their stories.
The beautiful things about blogs is that they can contain virtually anything. They can also provide the league with a vehicle to promote itself to businesses or other groups who might want to learn more about the league.
